Job Profile: Business Analyst Intern

Location: Baner, Pune
Mode: Work from Office
Duration: 6 Months

Role and Responsibilities:

• Understand the company’s service offerings, products, and business solutions.
• Prepare and deliver product and service demonstrations to prospective clients.
• Communicate with clients to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare functional documents for the development team.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), user stories, and use cases.
• Prepare project analysis, project proposals, workflows, wireframes, and process diagrams based on client requirements.
• Work closely with the development team throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to clarify business requirements.
• Participate in requirement gathering, solution planning, documentation, and project support activities.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for upselling services.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI tools, and industry best practices to improve business analysis processes.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with strong presentation abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Good analytical thinking and requirement-gathering skills.
• Basic understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with documentation such as BRD, FRD, SRS, feature lists, estimations, presentations, and workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one project management tool such as JIRA, Monday.com, or Trello.
• Knowledge of workflow and diagramming tools such as Miro, Draw.io, or Google Diagrams.
• Familiarity with wireframing tools such as Figma or similar low-fidelity design tools.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets.
• Basic understanding of software technologies, databases, and applications.
• Knowledge of domains such as Healthcare, E-commerce, CRM, Retail, or IoT is an added advantage.
• Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve productivity and business processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
