Job Profile: DevOps AWS Engineer Intern / Trainee

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Work closely with cloud architects and development teams to plan, deploy, and maintain applications on public and private cloud environments.
• Develop and automate deployment processes using Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, and Shell scripting.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, system performance, and application availability to ensure high reliability.
• Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, S3, ELB, IAM, ECS, and VPC.
• Support Linux/Unix server administration, web servers such as NGINX/Apache, and database administration activities.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for faster software delivery.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and improve infrastructure efficiency.
• Participate in troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance optimization of cloud environments.
• Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, cloud technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, BE/B.Tech, BCA, MCA, or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience or hands-on knowledge in AWS and DevOps technologies.
• Basic understanding of AWS Cloud Services including EC2, S3, ELB, IAM, ECS, and VPC.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration and Shell scripting.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Knowledge of NGINX/Apache web server administration.
• Basic understanding of APIs, cloud-native application architecture, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Familiarity with cloud monitoring, system performance, troubleshooting, and high-availability concepts.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
