Primary Role
We are seeking an experienced L1/ L2 Cloud Operations Engineer with expertise in Linux and AWS Cloud technologies to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in AWS Cloud, DevOps tools Jenkins. As a L1/L2 Cloud Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications.
Responsibilities and KPIs
- AWS: EC2, S3, VPC, AMI, IAM, ECS, Route 53, CDN, RDS, EBS, CloudWatch, Auto Scaling, SES, SNS, SQS, SSL, SSM.
- Create highly complex Jenkins CICD pipelines. DevOps CICD Pipelines
- Implementation on AWS from your own personal experience implementing the pipelines.
- Source Code Management Tools : Git, GitHub.
- Container And Orchestration Tools : Docker, ECS, Kubernetes.
- CI/CD Tool : Jenkins.
- Monitoring Tools : Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
- Logging Tools : Elasticsearch, Kibana. ELK.
- Daily Build and deployment on multiple environments such as QA/DEV/UAT.
- Manage source code, build scripts, and application configuration required to build, deploy, test, and release applications.
- Monitor system and application performance using monitoring tools and technologies such as Grafana or similar, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business stakeholders, to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues and integration processes.
- Implement and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline operational tasks, enhance efficiency, and improve system reliability.
Desired Skills
- Hands on experience for supporting production environment and Cloud Operations.
- Hands on experience on Linux Administration / Windows, basic networking part and AWS Cloud.
- Hands on experience in Monitoring tool like CloudWatch, Grafana.
- Candidate should have experience of any ticketing tool.
- Experience in ITIL Processes (at minimum – Change Management, Incident Management, Release Management, Problem Management)
- Nice to have – AWS solution architect – associate and Linux Certification.
- Troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Checking the tickets assigned and closing it accordingly.
