Job Description for Lead VMware Engineer

Role: Lead VMware Engineer

Description:

Design and architect VMware virtualization solutions, including VMware vSphere

clusters, NSX networking, and vSAN storage configurations.

Lead VMware infrastructure projects, such as VMware Cloud Foundation

deployments, vRealize Suite integrations, and software-defined data center

(SDDC) implementations.

Develop automation scripts and tools for VMware environment management,

including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling.

Perform advanced troubleshooting for VMware environments, including

performance analysis, capacity planning, and disaster recovery testing.

Collaborate with cloud teams for hybrid cloud integrations, workload migrations,

and cloud optimization strategies.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to VMware support teams, sharing

expertise and best practices for VMware technologies.
