Job Description for Software Developer

Position: Sr. Software Developer

Experience Range: 1 to 3 years

Role Profile: Windchill PDM Link Configuration/Customization which

includes Business Rule Creation, ACL, Types and Attribute

management.

• Windchill Workflow Creation and modification in Part

management, CAD Data management, document

management.

• Windchill UI/Client-Side Customization (Data utility,

Pickers, Wizards).

• Data Migration from third party system to Windchill PLM

BOM Transformation using MPM Link eBOM to mBOM,

mBOM to ERP system.

• Custom Report development using Query Builder
• Windchill Implementation and Configuration.
• Integration of data from PLM to ERP.
• Interface with business customers to gather requirements

and define, develop solutions meeting business

requirements and IT architectural and development

standards.

Skills required: Windchill configuration and customizations.

Understanding of Windchill Architecture, database, setting

up change management workflows, user management, BOM

transformation.

Multi-tiered application development, MVC architecture,

service-oriented architecture.

Implementation PLM software such as PTC Windchill.

Windchill Integrations -Windchill Info*Engine, ESI, ERP

Connector.

Programming skills in Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring, JavaScript,

Web services – SOAP & REST and microservice architecture a

plus.

Knowledge of Windchill PDM Link, Parts Link, Integrity,

Project Link, MPM Link, CAD Software like Creo, AutoCAD,

UG would be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification: B.E. (Computer/IT/Mechanical/Electronics)
