Fake Experience Certificate

I am going to discuss what you could experience if you use a fake experience certificate to get a job in the IT sector. I do want to emphasize that if you are technically skilled and aware about the sector, you may get work in IT without having any fake experience.

A certificate of experience serves as proof of the employees’ employment with a company. An experience certificate certifies an employees’ time with an organization as well as their performance on the job. An experience letter is a letter provided to an employee by the employer, confirming an employees’ job performance and experience, typically at the time of leaving the organization. It is crucial to understand experience letter formats, as a well-written, well-formatted experience letter makes a good impression to a company.

Candidates believe the companies are not going to be able to check out the truth of their work experience and the role that they played at a company, as that company does not exist now.

Big companies find it challenging to sit back on their judgement and declare every other omission, failure to disclose, exaggeration, or exaggeration to be fake unless every other omission is something major, such as fake or falsified degrees/mark sheets, fake experience letters and testimonials, in which the employee has never worked at the said company.

Big companies can even bring in the law if they feel there is a threat to their confidentiality and safety simply due to your fake work experience or certificates. The big companies have got massive databases, investigation agencies, and other tools in place to combat the menace of fake work experience. Smaller organizations might not enjoy these facilities as well as the big, established organizations, but it is never meant to be that it is always easier for a smaller firm to deceive it of a fake experience. Fake job-verification services are plentiful, but employers and other third parties are becoming more cautious about fake claims, so chances are even the most cautious of scammers are going to be caught.

Scammers are incredibly attuned to the fact that some job seekers are desperate for a pay check, and they will take advantage of this by recruiting fresh professionals that might be unaccustomed to looking for jobs at home.

Job Oriented Courses

Some scammers will even pretend to be from a reputable company or job board in order to get the job seekers to interview. Fake jobs or recruiting websites may be harder to detect than others, especially since some of these sites do a great job passing themselves off as legitimate recruiting sites. Typically, this kind of employment scam will request sensitive information, like your SSN or banking details, under the pretence of a pre-screening, or for you to begin submitting your salary right away. If a business is asking for your banking information upfront (such as asking for your Social Security number in the job application, or wants your banking information before it can offer you a job), then this is probably a scam.

If the site/employer is asking you to pay an upfront fee for getting the job, or paying for studying materials to help you score higher and get hired, then the job offer is a scam. You are offered a job without a recruiter checking your work experience or asking for references.

A job offer typically comes from a recruiter/employer claiming to have found your resume on a job board, or you applied for a position (and are a perfect candidate!). You might have thought that you found the dream job, but on closer examination, you cannot find information on the company. Also, employers know if you are interested in a job, you will give them a reference list when asked — there is no need to spell it out.

Training will familiarize you with the roles and responsibilities that you are expected to assume as soon as you begin working with projects for our clients. There is a common assumption in applying to senior leadership positions that years of experience may replace a college degree. As we have said before, any job paying a fair amount of money is going to require some degree or amount of expertise in that area.

In case, you do not have experience letter, then include references of your prior letters, so your employer is sure of your credibility. You must give an attorney notice to your employer for the release of your resignation letter and the experience letter, failing that, you may take legal action against the company for getting both documents under court orders. Yes, you will receive an experience letter if you worked in an organization for over 6 months, regardless of whether you were laid off or you quit, it does not matter because either way, you must have served your notice period according to company policy. Yes, the salary should be included in an experience letter because this gives an insight into another company or company on how well an employee performs and what is his salary range.  Once you have completed the period of employment at the company, the employer provides an experience certificate for you to present to your new employer.

Fake Experience Certificate Legal Action

If the recruiter noticed the fake work experience on your resume during an interview, they would very much drop out of the discussion. However, an open secret within IT is that around 15-20% of candidates enter the field of employment using forged certificates of experience. Candidates primarily resort to such practices because companies refuse to offer jobs to fresher.

Once the employee is found lying in his or her resume, an employer has the right to terminate the employment agreement. Even if the employees choose not to fire an employee who lies on his or her resume (or cannot do so for some other reason), his or her future growth at the company is forever stunted. Besides, Even if your employer does not end your employment for lying, you will still be forced to deal with the awkwardness of having an employer find out that you lied. You may almost kiss your employment references goodbye if it is discovered that you provided fake information on your resume. The process of checking for fake employment references becomes severe as well, once you are running out of time to fill the position.

Nowadays, companies are checking applicants on their own or using third-party verification companies, as many applicants’ documents are easily falsified. When considering the applicants background, companies should note the issuing authority of credentials, along with the certification numbers. Most issuing organizations provide a space directly on their websites to verify certification number, and ensure your IT security professional has the qualifications that they say they have. A simple Google search of fake certificates bring up plenty of websites creating convincingly bogus certificates of all sorts, ranging from university experiences to industry-wide top-level credentials.

Fake Experience Certificate Is Crime

There are dozens of companies willing to supply everything from fake salary stubs to face-to-face interviews for verified job experience. There are plenty of employers, particularly the body shop type IT companies, who may demand things from you should not have locked away. In the current job market, even having connections to one specific company can provide only a fake sense of security.

If the new company is giving you the job on based only on your fresh experience, do not assume that they are going to invest money and time to vet your prior experiences. Once you finish the period of employment in a company, employers give you experience certificates, you can present them to your new employers. They attempt to manufacture fake experience letters, and they believe the companies that are appearing at interviews are unable to dig into their lies.

Unfortunately, an immediate need to hire one may cause you to skip the step of fully checking your application information, which could end up leaving your company in a very vulnerable situation. It may even affect the ability of the former employee to pursue a lawsuit against an employer action that might be legally unlawful.

Fake Experience Certificate Punishment

Here I have covered about punishment for fake experience certificate in India. Fake experience certificates in order to obtain employment either with any private sector is an actionable offence, and a person who does this may face punishment as well as termination of the employment he/she is currently posted in. If this is done, then a person could be punished with imprisonment up to a maximum of ten years for submitting fake work experience certificate while applying for jobs. The Law Ministry has advised the government that filing fake certificates for government jobs should be treated as a criminal offense, with a seven-year prison sentence. Under its provisions, an individual found guilty of producing a fake certificate to obtain a job must face seven years in prison.

The primary work of industry players is to catch individuals who are faking or exaggerating their education and employment qualifications and salaries through the use of fake certificates and pay envelopes. According to experts, some smaller-scale BPOs offer trainees internships, and instead of paying them a stipend, they provide and legitimize fake certificates that falsify their expertise. And if employees are found competent and deliver products on time, they are not fired, even if their experience certificates are found fake. Even if the employees choose not to fire an employee who lies on his or her resume (or cannot do so for some other reason), his or her future growth at the company is forever stunted.

To curb rising cases of fraudulent resumes, background checking companies hire individuals to visit a prospective employee personally to get his or her address verified, refer their representatives to HR at the employees former company, verify credentials at the employees college, contact the professionals references.

Conclusion

Job references should be for jobs that you are willing and able to do, at pay that you are ready to accept, and in an area that you are ready to work. Start professional relationships and broaden your contact network within your particular field of employment; meet the people who could in the future refer you for jobs. You should be diligent about your job search, making at least two contact attempts with employers each week to try and get a job. These steps will also help you to develop your HR professional network–which can result in a job offer or a new opportunity–and to build up the social proof that will confirm your competence, even if you have not worked directly in HR previously.

It is extremely unethical to fake a CV, and please do not attempt to deceive yourself, recruiting agents, hiring companies, and your parents. If someone were to make fake statements in their resume about the duties they performed in their previous positions, or the skills they had, then the likelihood is they would struggle to live up to expectations in the new role.  If you are still using that fake experience on your CV/Resume, find a way to delete it the next time you apply with a new company. Just because your resume seems to be going down the black hole, does not mean that job listing was fake in the first place.
