Job Description for AWS Cloud Engineer – Fresher (Linux / System Administration)

Job Overview

We are looking for motivated freshers who are passionate about AWS Cloud & Linux System Administration. This role is designed to give hands-on exposure to real-world cloud infrastructure, operating systems, and enterprise IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux / Windows / Unix operating systems hosted on AWS.
• Configure and administer AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Execute and test Linux & Windows administration tasks including patching, backups, and security updates.
• Provide L1 & L2 technical support, respond to helpdesk tickets, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
• Troubleshoot server, database, network, and application-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
• Manage domains, SSL certificates, DNS records, and IT infrastructure components.
• Monitor cloud resources using monitoring tools and take preventive actions.
• Work closely with the product development and operations teams to support client deliverables.
• Continuously upgrade skills in new AWS services, automation tools, and shell scripting.

Skills Required

• Strong fundamentals in Linux operating systems.
• Working knowledge of Bash / Shell scripting.
• Awareness of monitoring tools and performance tracking.
• Understanding of Linux troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with open-source technologies such as:
  • Apache
  • Nginx
  • Redis
  • MySQL / PostgreSQL (basic)
• Basic understanding of AWS core services – EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, CloudWatch.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
